Malabar Hill Hotel - Weligama

The infinity pool was dreamy, but the spa was a bit of a letdown, just a room, mate. A sweet as getaway!

The location of this hotel adjacent to an expansive forest that stretches as far as the eye can see, with the azure sky above and a tantalizing glimpse of the ocean in the distance, and the sea was incredible and stunning. Also, Pelena was 4 km away. The room was exceptional and perfect with a roll-in shower and bathrobes in the private bathroom.

Villa was extremely spacious and perfect. It had an electric kettle, a fridge, and glassware. Its location was magnificent and fantastic, adjacent to an expansive forest. Exceptionally nice staff as I wanted.

Just spent three amazing nights in a villa with a private pool at Malabar Hill. The amazing views and floating breakfast made it super special. They even provided tuk-tuk rides to a beautiful beach spot for sunset viewing! Only downside, an odd checkout call for a minor charge-but totally worth it!

The Italian pasta was divine, rich in flavor and cooked to perfection! The villa's design is fine. It's like sleeping in a piece of art. Not to mention the amazing pool area, pure paradise!

Secluded villas, amazing views, calming atmosphere

No twin bed configurations!!! The design around the villa's pool has unguarded drops, not suitable with small children. It's evident improvement should be made in these areas.

The villa with private pool was immaculate, providing fine views of lush greenery and a tasteful design. The restaurant served authentic flavors.

Access road can be challenging.

The amazing views from the villa with private pool were lovely. Accessibility issues made it challenging to navigate.

In-room breakfast was a treat. Only downside was slow wi-fi at times.

A Truly Serene Getaway

The views were amazing, especially during sunset. The spa's Last-Minute treatments were just what we needed. Don't miss the chargrilled squid salad, it was very nice! Perfect for couples seeking tranquility.

Just a reliable pick for a brief stop-in in Weligama with excellent value for money. Enjoyed the in-room breakfast, so convenient and tasty. Be aware that wi-fi might be slow at times.

Staying at Malabar Hill was an lovely experience! The villa with a private pool was pure luxury, offering amazing views of lush greenery and the sea. Breakfast by the pool was a highlight. The food was beautifully presented and delicious. The staff, especially Sahan and Mendis, provided excellent service during our guided bike ride through the tranquil surroundings.

Great central location, close to a vast forest, under the endless sky with a view of the ocean; a perfect spot to enjoy nature in Sri Lanka.

Fine villa, attentive staff, the in-room breakfast was a good way to start our mornings, and the location is perfect for exploring local attractions being just 83 km from the nearest airport.
